Begin by launching the Windows Recovery Environment (winRE). This involves shutting down and restarting your device multiple times. First, power it off and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then turn it back on. As soon as Windows begins—such as when it displays the manufacturer’s logo during a restart—press the power button again to shut it down. After a full restart, proceed to select Advanced options. On the Choose an option screen, choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair > Restart.
