I just tried those... IBT around 75°C (stable), tested C20 right after: ~80°C (stable). Do you think your RAM bottleneck is stopping it from getting too hot? Also, why are you using Gigabyte instead of MSI? (I’m using an Aorus motherboard, so I’m a bit confused.)

What's happening is that the CPU warms up only up to a certain temperature, reaching around 80°C without exceeding it. This might be due to issues with the product or the customer support they received.

RAM likely doesn’t affect CPU temperatures much, probably just helps keep things cooler or prevents overheating. As long as it stays below 80°C, it’s a good sign. Recently, I received my GPU and the issue was resolved—though they took a month without updates to fix a thermal problem. It might have been fixed in about 15 minutes if done right. I had to contact the retailer because their support page didn’t offer an email way to ask about re-pasting, and their site was broken, forcing me to create an account that didn’t work. Plus, I ended up paying a handling fee, which I think should be covered under warranty by Gigabyte.

I didn't anticipate that level of challenge! It seemed like the bottleneck effect was happening. But clearly not... My output for C20 matches what you saw with "the standard 3900x" (around 7200-7300), which makes sense.
