Power failure leading to a wide range of problems
Power failure leading to a wide range of problems
As far as I have tested, this issue only happens on GTA V, and I’ve tried every fix the top of Google search results recommends. Issue: My power randomly went out earlier while gaming and I’ve been struggling to find the root of the cause. My system works perfectly fine up until a random point while I am playing GTA V. After I hit this random point, I either get a “err_gfx_d3d_init” error, which I’ve troubleshooted to the depths of hell. Now, it will crash with a blue screen error, which I haven’t been able to see due to it restarting too fast. It repeats the cycle whenever I make another attempt to play. Like I said, I’ve done everything the Internet recommended. If this is a hardware issue, it’s not a problem as I have some funds set aside for these things. Note: Feel free to explain in PC nerd language, as I am a week or so from having my CompTIA A+ certification, so I will understand the nerd language. The recent Windows update might have damaged some files, causing power loss and crashes. Repairing them could work, but a clean installation would be faster.
