I intended to install the 2 CMT16GX4M2C3200C16 (v4.32), but I realize now that you mentioned it's not guaranteed just because a 3200 Mhz 2x8 setup works. I completely missed that detail.

It often comes down to how the other components fit in, but I usually avoid going off track. Just learned last night that the RAM wasn't suitable for my 1700 rig and the board didn't support 32GB either. It was detected, but it wasn't intended for that setup. I thought 32 would be too much, so I’m not planning to get it. There aren’t any RAMs at 3200MHz, 2x8, and it’s under $100, lmao—it’s really challenging.

Considered the Patriot PSD416G24002 (2400), 16GB model available on the list. Price is $53.61 on Amazon. Not RGB or gussied, but fits your budget and could be modified to 3200. Here are the 16GB 3200 QVL choices for this board... Updated October 16, 2022 by An0maly_76 Added more info

You're worried about going too fast with your overclocking. If you do, you might lose control and damage your hardware. The main risks include instability, overheating, and potential permanent failure. It's better to stay within safe limits.
