One real issue we face on the internet are pop-ups. Often they ask for permission to use cookies, which I am not willing to give. Other times they want me to allow them to send updates or notifications, and that is something I definitely do not want. There is an option here to block these things, but it takes a while to set up. Blocking also takes more time than just opening the page. It's not easy to remove cookies without effort. We have to find workarounds because of this messiness. This causes a lot of trouble and inconvenience. Can you recommend some software that costs money or is free? Something that blocks those pop-ups, stops the notifications from coming through, and helps me stay focused on what I need to do right now?

Which browser are you using? Some browsers like Firefox come with extra tools called add-ons. These blocks cookies, pop-ups, and ads while you browse. If you use Firefox, you can just download the AdBlocker Ultimate extension to stop all that stuff.
