Poor performance on low-end systems and long rendering times on powerful machines
i've experienced god awfil load times similar to any game, but texture and model loading still lag. it's been seven months since i got this pc, and only four months ago the issue began. they said fixing the gpu resolved it, though their test cpu seems fine. i'm unsure if the problem is with the psu or the motherboard. my setup includes an i7 4790k at 4.00 ghz and a nvidia gtx 980 ti by gigabyte, which uses a z97 gaming 7 lga 1150 socket. drivers are up to date.
What? LOD and draw distance are unrelated to the hardware, aside from how they affect performance. The actual impact depends on the game and its specific configurations.
I adjusted the settings and performed a clean installation of Windows 7 and Windows 10, but the CPU and GPU aren't communicating efficiently.
I've tested various titles ranging from modern hits to older classics. The issue seems to appear in different games, not just a specific one. Settings have been adjusted, but performance issues persist, especially with textures, models, and physics. Some games run smoothly in FPS mode, yet texture loading feels delayed or incomplete. Dark Souls 3 and BioShock Infinite also show similar problems.
My system temperatures while playing are consistent and within optimal ranges.
