Unless it's not passing the 970 evo test, it wouldn't be a problem. I have no idea if it's actually failing, but if anyone suggests a way to check for errors in this device, that would help rule out a likely cause. I'm just unsure about the right software to use on Windows.

my ssd has 200gb available from its 1.8 terabytes, yet even with less space it caused delays, and my 1% fps dropped to around 40-60 when there were over 100 frames.

I checked my SSD using Windows software and Samsung's own tools, and both confirmed it was working properly.

Consider using Windows Disk Cleanup to release some space. Also, try removing the side of your case and check if your system runs smoother. Make sure your motherboard BIOS is fully updated. Is this your motherboard? https://www.asus.com/us/motherboard...sk...PLUS-WI-FI
