I'm not sure how to purchase Star Citizen... should I get a ship? Please clarify. Also, is the game enjoyable? What kind of sci-fi experience does it offer? How large is the universe in this game? Is there a lot of replay value? Do various ships improve gameplay? Of course, I was thinking about buying the cheapest option. Let me know if you need more details!

Hello, to buy the game you simply purchase a package or a ship, yes. After that you’ll receive access to the alpha version for download. 1. The game is excellent so far, though it’s still in its early stages and hasn’t been fully released—don’t expect much content or bug-free play. 2. It focuses on life in space, spaceships, explosions, exploration, industry, and more. Check their main website for details. 3. The current size isn’t clear due to frequent updates, but it’s under 20GB as I recall. 4. Once it’s officially released (likely in a year or two), that’s when things will improve. 5. Probably true—depends on your preferences, but having options is always beneficial.

the game world seems large, so i’d go with the $45 option for a ship or the $60 one for squadron 42. the insurance feature isn’t clear—check if it’s in-game currency or handled through microtransactions. let me know if you need more details!

It will be extremely large, though it isn't massive yet. It offers enough time to explore various areas and the city with limited access. You can try out weapons and check out different outfits, ship designs, and more.

Any package you can afford has cost me over £350 so far, which means my advice will differ from others. Pick the ship that appeals to you most.

Insurance ensures you can recover your ship in case it gets damaged during the game (using in-game currency). If you lack insurance after destruction, the loss is permanent.

There is in-game currency available, indicating what's currently playable: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/feature-list

Squadron 42 represents a completely separate experience. The price is $45 USD for either the Aurora MR or the Mustang Alpha.

Do you want a trial version to test it out? Also, are refunds available? Thanks for your questions.

The game hasn't finished launching, it's still in the Alpha phase. I'm not sure if a demo will ever come. They don't offer refunds at the moment, that's what I know. No worries.

You’d need to visit rsi.com or .net to find out more. I don’t recall it, but they’re running a free flight for another week or so. They also offer a free-to-play week roughly every two months where you can download and play for a free period. I’m not sure of the specifics, but the game is still in pre-alpha stage. It’s really popular right now, but it’s not quite finished. You’re not buying anything yet—just getting the game when it launches. Purchasing a ship early isn’t necessary since it won’t be required at release. This is more about testing and finding bugs than a polished experience. The developers are focusing on launching Squadron 42 as a standalone title, which is why it’s being released separately. Check out their free flight options if you’re interested.

They aren't offering demos right now, but they have a free flight promotion this summer. It lets you try three ships for a week. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/promo...e-Fly-2016
