An account needs to be present in the database to function. If it's missing, it simply doesn't exist. Storing accounts isn't possible without a database foundation.

Focus on reputable businesses that never request your account info via any channel. If they do, expect a physical letter instead. When uncertain, disengage and verify through official contact details. Avoid any company you don’t interact with.
