However, I took Minecraft for roughly a year on a laptop during the XP era (probably around 2002). You can picture it—your graphics card was struggling a lot, and OptiFine kept trying to boost performance, but it never reached 30 frames per second.

Prior to obtaining the 210, I struggled with running Unreal Tournament III, and my CPU would reach maximum usage when attempting to play.

I previously ran 2,470 seconds. The exact rating isn't clear.

I strongly dislike cheap graphics cards. For me, a minimum requirement is an R7 260. I won't go below that.

You can use some Kaveri APU models against an R7 250, though I understand your point—it's only marginally pricier and doesn't justify a 250. I previously owned a GTX 650 with 2GB RAM, which was quite reliable for its time.

I've never played games on a budget GPU.

My graphics card has usually been too basic for games. I used a Radeon 9600 with passive cooling in BF2. Now I’m using a 560Ti. I’ve also tried BF2 on my current laptops with an X1400M and Radeon.
