I received GTA 5 for free on the Epic store, but my system struggles to run it smoothly. Can you find a way to make it work at least 20-40 frames per second? I’d also like to use online play and try custom settings. I’m used to PS1 graphics, so it shouldn’t be too tough. My hardware includes: CPU – Intel Celeron N3350 (1.10 GHz), GPU – Intel HD Graphics 500, RAM – 4GB DDR3L, PC – Acer Aspire ES15 ES1-533-C6GM, Windows 10 Home 64-bit.
On a processor with a 1.1GHz clock speed, this situation cannot occur.
Online won't work, even worse than offline with the added latency. At 800x600 with lowest settings it may be playable, not well though and nothing to enjoy either. You need to make sure everything power saving is turned off, and you have the power cord plugged in. That way the cpu should stay above 2 GHz. If you can upgrade the memory, do it. You need at least 8 GB to get more fps. But don't expect miracles, it's a netbook device, meant light workloads only. Also make sure windows power settings are set to max performance and the explorer is set to max performance as well, disabling transparency and such. Upgrading to an SSD if possible might help with loading times and accelerate loading stuff into memory, improving the lowest frame numbers a bit. My guess would be your system will do maybe 12 to 20 fps at most when fully optimized.
It runs at the simplest speed of 7 frames per second with a very slow pace
If you have any affordable components or a budget PC, I’ll check to see if I can purchase them.
