What supports this as suitable for each situation is unclear. Many game creators, even famous ones, have used pirated titles during their youth when they couldn't pay. If they hadn't done so and followed the inspiration behind those games, they might not have become the developers who produce beloved titles today.

In a few countries it's legal. I consider it ethical if the game is no longer purchaseable OR if you want to test the game out(pc can handle it or not) before buying it if the game doesn't have a demo on Steam/other service.
