Performance of the Dolphin Emulator is extremely low.
I made only minimal adjustments; most changes came from raising the settings since everything worked fine before. As discussed earlier, performance really depends on the games you play. I’m using nearly identical hardware to the original user.
It's in its fourth revision, and I wouldn't call it "trash" anymore. I rarely play games at higher resolutions on emulators; 720p is sufficient for me. They run smoothly at 60 FPS with full anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. Since emulators often require adjustments depending on the game, some settings can cause crashes or odd behavior. If you're interested, I can share screenshots of my settings to see if they help. It'll be a while before I get home. Your setup seems better than mine, so the settings should work well for you.
I've been working on getting PoKeMoN GoD to run smoothly at 60fps for the past hour, but it's still not quite there. The performance drops to around 30fps with stuttering audio during the cutscene, and then falls to about 25fps in the battle arena with similar issues. It's odd since other games I've played—like Tales of Symphonia, MGS TS, and RE4—run smoothly without these problems. I plan to share my screenshots later after more testing, even if I haven't tried many different games besides the ones I already own. Unfortunately, I can't test SSBB because I don't have a Wii controller, but I'll keep sharing updates.
