It was already disabled, it kept stuttering, so I switched it back on. It still had stutter issues.

It's a Samsung LS24AG32X (1920x1080, 165Hz) that supports 0.1% and 1% lows but didn't improve performance. Before my first computer, I used a friend's setup with similar specs (1660 Super, Intel i7-12700, 144Hz monitor). That made me consider buying the same model, but opting for 165Hz instead of 144Hz. The 144Hz felt smooth, while the 165Hz version on my monitor caused noticeable stuttering during games.

I believe the issue lies with the monitor. Please send it back if possible and request a 144Hz GSYNC native version.

It simply activates tracking for 0.1% and 1% dips in the MSI Afterburner display. Run a test and observe those thresholds—if they appear problematic, it likely points to the root cause of your concern.
