I'm playing professional esports in pubg and facing performance issues. I've looked into many things and tried the usual "DIY" approach. Following usage percentages never go above 60% on either GPU or CPU. Could this be a bottleneck? Or is my setup wrong? I bought this machine from someone who built it for me to use at home. Specs: i7-12700k (water cooled), MSI Pro Z690-A, RTX 3080, Gskill DDR432GB, 3600, Samsung 980 Pro.

You need to track CPU usage individually per thread, not just overall. I suspect at least a couple of threads are hitting 100% utilization.

What adjustments need to be made? The GPU staying under 60% indicates a 40% bottleneck. Low resolution settings can contribute, as can game engine restrictions (like DX11 limiting to 4 cores). A weak CPU or overheating can also play a role. It seems you're not optimizing your performance for professional gaming.
