Consider your next steps carefully. Analyze the issue, gather more information, and determine the best course of action to resolve it effectively.

Also, are there any steps in the bios section you should follow? I'm not very confident with comp-building but have a good grasp. Regarding temperatures, what's typical for GPU and CPU?

either boost the speed for more power or switch to a faster processor. Other options won’t improve that single-core performance.

But why does that one stand out so much? And the rest are handling things differently. I believed the i7-12700k was a solid CPU that wouldn’t slow down the 3080. If I’m correct, my processor is actually limiting performance. That should be my top upgrade priority?

Interesting fact: All computers face limitations. It's impossible to create a perfect machine without one. Where does this restriction occur? It shifts depending on what you're doing. Many games depend more on a single thread than others. The older the game, the greater this tendency tends to be. Top FPS shooters usually have this issue built in.

I saw this discussion and found someone facing a similar issue. It’s strange that under heavy load, most of my cores stay idle. Would switching off the inter-turbo boost help? Any other suggestions? It looks odd that an i7-12700k with a 3080 wouldn’t run PUGB at low resolution smoothly, especially at 240Hz. Is the game engine not utilizing resources efficiently?

Yes, it looks like the settings are correct for a smooth 1080p at around 110 frames per second.

Running at 1080p ultra with 120 render scale, max FOV and sharpening activated. This should noticeably contrast with your setup of 1728x1080 at low CPU priority and render scale 100. Nvidia settings are off for scaling, anti-aliasing, and latency mode. Performance features include high perf texture filtering, OpenGL power mode, and max VSync with anti-aliasing disabled.
