I'm testing a setup with these components: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, MSI A320M Pro-VH, Kingston HyperX 1x8GB RAM at 2400MHz, Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB, 500W PSU. My frame rates are significantly lower than expected, even dropping to half of my friends' in games like Rainbow 6, Siege, and CS:GO. I'm curious what's affecting performance—remember, when I bought the PC it came with an unofficial Windows install, but I've switched to a legitimate version since.
Compare similarly to match benchmarks rather than focusing on FPS, since those numbers can be easily adjusted. A benchmark offers a more accurate test by maintaining identical conditions. Make sure both users are using their systems at default clock speeds if you want to assess real performance differences, as overclocking levels can vary even with similar specs.
I purchased it ready-made, yet a slower RAM might still impact my FPS significantly.
I've been advised that RAM shouldn't influence my FPS beyond a 10% increase.
You can get the 16GB by buying a single HyperX Fury 2400 MHz stick, or you could opt for a 2x4GB bundle that adds up to 16GB.
