Performance drops unexpectedly to zero during GPU operations.
I just swapped in a GT710 2GB DDR3 to fill the gap left by my old R7 240. It worked fine on the seller’s machine and even handled heavy stress tests for about half an hour without issues. But when I put it on my PC, the GPU usage would suddenly drop to near zero—especially while streaming YouTube or editing videos, and even when playing games. The temperatures stayed normal, hovering between 45°C and 53°C, but the GPU would just disconnect, forcing a restart for Windows to recognize it. The error logs show this random drop in Task Manager and the Event Viewer. Anyone know why this happens and how to fix it? I’m planning to replace it with an RX570 or 1060 3GB next month, but it’s really frustrating during video work. My current setup includes: processor I5 3470 @3.4GHz, GT710 2GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB DDR3 at 1600MHz, and a Cooler Master MWE450 PSU. The monitor is a ViewSonic VA1938wa-LED at 1366x768 resolution.
It's easy to notice the CPU reaching maximum usage while the GPU stays idle. There seems to be a limitation there, but the card looks okay. I think the main issue might be the hard drive.

The errors captured in the screenshots aren't connected, yet they're frequently seen. However, the NDIS alert in the first image could be the concern you're facing.
