I checked various sources but couldn't locate a clear response. For retaining support and updates after a clean Windows 11 install on supported hardware via the Microsoft Media Creation Tool, you should upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 if you need full compatibility and ongoing assistance.

It should function as long as your 10 key is linked to a Microsoft account and it uses the same device.

With the key, it's likely connected to your system board. You can use a prebuilt model from Dell, HP, or Lenovo, or go through the Upgrade Program—once activated, it registers your board automatically. Support and updates are now available to all users, so you should be okay.

You should be able to use those Windows 10 Pro keys to activate Windows 11. Just follow the activation steps for Windows 11 after installing the key, and you’ll have a smooth upgrade.

There might be issues because the keys are typically tied to the Hardware ID on motherboards, though altering the CPU multiple times occasionally can cause the system to detect a hardware change and shut down.

I suggest starting with Windows 10 Pro. Activate it, then upgrade to Windows 11. If you prefer, you can install Windows 11 from scratch and use a fresh Windows 10 Pro key instead.

I would set up 10 initially and then move to 11 for extra security because the key is tied to 10. After installation, you can switch to 11 and perform a complete reinstall if desired, ensuring it matches the motherboard's hardware ID.

Yes, you can set up partitions on a USB stick. You can install Windows 10 on one partition and Windows 11 on another using a media creation tool.

It should handle large amounts when it has sufficient space.

Are you referring to building a USB installer for Windows 10 or 11, or setting up an SSD that boots independently? If you're aiming for the USB method, Ventoy is likely the right choice.
