I'm 17 years old and have tried every operating system since XP. From my own experience, I know that while 7 was user-friendly and fun to use, it had some drawbacks. Personally, I prefer the native 10 Design USB 3.0 version, combining the strengths of 7 with the reliability of newer releases like 8/8.1.
After 20 minutes of waiting for someone to pick up. I'm just going to clone the drive. It's a 500GB SSD and should be large enough to do a straight clone.
Reinstalling the OS is usually the best option. It minimizes risks and ensures the most efficient system. We’re a college student and I’m working full-time on co-op while he’s on campus. This weekend I’ll drive over and clone it. He doesn’t have a USB to SATA adapter, which could be an issue. I’ll let him know about it. At this stage, we’re likely going to choose a clone.
