The Oculus headset uses detachable earpieces, so your own headset should work with the same design.

Invest in premium equipment for just one title you own, since the benefits won’t extend beyond that experience. If you’re mainly playing casual sessions and only one game, the extra cost doesn’t add much value.

Facebook is recognized for its impressive business strategies, such as collecting user data and installing extra software. In the VR world, most users are shifting away from Rift, making the future development more exciting. The current VR scene is still in its early stages, but Vive is performing better than Rift, which I've tried with both.

All businesses aim to gather telemetry. Being online means you're being monitored. This isn't harmful because companies require data to understand customer preferences, and they usually don't mind your identity.

It's just a minor issue, the main reason I wouldn't choose Facebook is its exclusive business model. In contrast, Vive seems more open about its technology, especially after HTC let other developers create add-ons using their Lighthouse system. At CES, they also introduced many new Vive add-ons, and the Vive Wireless kits were impressive.
