I'm curious about this too. I thought about using the same board you did (you saw the same video on YouTube, right?). Likely I'd also choose an R7 or R9 when they release Zen 3.

x570 and b550 are verified, b450 needs approval from the board maker for beta bios. Consider x470 as well and keep an eye on beta bios.

They don't back the AGESA standard for unfinished CPUs right out of the box. The B550 can work with Zen 3, but if you're planning to wait for Zen 3, get the board now instead of later.
