I recently installed a new PC. It functions well overall, but I’m experiencing problems with the frames and flickering lights in the room. Here are the specifications: CPU Ryzen 7800X3D, GPU NVIDIA 4070 Ti Super, 32GB DDR5 RAM at 6000Mhz, Lian Li LED Infinity AIO cooler, Corsair M1000E power supply. I’m playing games and notice my frames stutter every 5-10 seconds while the lights flicker simultaneously. I’ve tried a factory reset, disabled overlays, cleaned storage drives, adjusted GPU OC settings, but nothing seems to help. No clear explanation. Could you help?

Sound like an electrical problem. Call a plumber to check another outlet or room.

The frames issue isn't leading to flickering; it's the opposite.

would there simply be insufficient power for my computer? could purchasing a UPS unit resolve my issues? It appears that in every upstairs room where I test a different outlet, the lights constantly flicker.

As previously mentioned, the problem stems from a poor electrical setup in the home. A qualified electrician should inspect it and resolve the issue if feasible. There are no other options.

Do you believe purchasing a UPS system might resolve the problem? Since your neighbor is an electrician, they could assess it, but I’m curious if a UPS system could be beneficial.

This scenario won't be resolved by a UPS in the long run.

I would like to include a video.
every 10ish seconds in games, it skips a frame entirely, and the room lights in my bedroom blink at the same time. The FPS screen in the bottom left displays this too in the game. I’m not sure what might be causing it. I’ve tried installing extensions on other outlets around the house, but nothing has changed. It’s unclear what could be the issue.

I'm uncertain about the cause. I've tested using extensions on different outlets, but nothing changed. It's unclear what might be wrong. As others mentioned, the problem likely lies with the power source rather than the PC itself. If all wall outlets behave similarly, examine the main distribution board. If not, proceed beyond it. Hire a certified electrician to inspect the wiring and grounding throughout your home.

Sorry, I struggled with this site and wasn't sure how to check my old thread. I think it might be due to a bad electrical board or a faulty PSU. Honestly, I'm exhausted from trying to figure this out.
