Hey everyone, planning to build my first PC on September 3rd. I'm unsure what games to install. I already have Witcher 3 and Rotor ready to explore more options. Fallout 4 caught my attention because of Mass Effect, which I tried on a laptop. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks.

Any of the Elder Scrolls games or Fallout games. BioShock games, Stalker series, I love the Stalker series. Metro 2033 and Last Light are AMAZING.

Yes, CS:GO isn't on my list, but I'm not sure about Battlefield. I've played Skyrim on my laptop for hours. Bioshock and Stalker haven't been played yet. I tried the Metro, but only at the end due to stuttering. Thanks for the reminder and suggestion!

This phrase refers to many different experiences. It might point to GTA V for its intense and long-lasting fun, or Minecraft for its open-ended gameplay. It could also relate to Stanley Parable, a unique interactive narrative, or The Beginner's Guide, an engaging story-driven experience. Other possibilities include Gone Home, a puzzle adventure with depth, or games in the Half-life/Portal series known for their quality writing. Each option offers something distinct.

Exploring these titles feels new to me—Stanley Parable, The Beginner's Guide, and Gone Home haven't crossed my radar. I'm curious about how they compare to Mass Effect or fantasy settings where character growth matters. Also, does Dragon Age: Inquisition look like something worth investing in if you haven't played the series yet?

It's not familiar to me; I've never come across it before.
