Avoid reading reviews or checking screenshots since these are linear experiences with a single playthrough. (Stanley Parable follows a different structure, but even beyond the demo it can restrict your enjoyment.) Keep in mind you’re likely to dislike the Beginners guide if you haven’t played The Stanley Parable or if you didn’t enjoy it. Gone Home isn’t a good value at $15, though it’s decent when discounted on Steam.
