PC fails to start following XMP activation post-bios upgrade (A320m model).
I just upgraded the mainboard AM4 A320m Pro VH Plus to version 7B07v3GQ Beta. The new update promised faster boot times, which was appealing. But after applying it, turning on XMP and selecting profile 1 (3200MHz) caused the PC to fail to start, displaying a blank screen and no signal. I removed the CMOS instead of using XMP, setting the DRAM frequency to 3200MHz, but it still didn’t work. Then I reset the CMOS again and ran it at the default 2400MHz. Previously, the same BIOS had XMP enabled at 3200MHz for the 7B07v3GP Beta model, but that version is no longer listed. My CPU is now R5 3600, with HyperX Fury 3200MHz RAM (8GB x 2).
Consider setting up the previous BIOS edition you had before.
A320M does not allow overclocking; any memory running at 3200MHz may cause issues.
