PC fails to start after trying to resolve overheating problems by reapplying thermal paste.
I tested the power switch connections with a multimeter and measured 0.3 volts, indicating the motherboard is receiving power.
Check if PSU is operational. Try disconnecting the PSU from the wall outlet, then remove the 24-pin connector from the motherboard, power it on briefly, and reinsert the connector back in. If no power appears, remove the 24-pin and connect the two wires that power the PSU to the switch, then test again. If still no signal, short the two wires to see if the PSU powers up.
