I changed the thermal paste on my CPU and every time I tried to power it up, it wouldn't restart. I double-checked that all the power connections were secure and they were fine. I don’t know what’s going on with my setup.

Components: MSI MAG B550 MAX WIFI CPU, Ryzen 5 5600, ZOTAC GAMING NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, EVGA 1000 G5 SUPERNOVA, PSU: EVGA 1000 G5 SUPERNOVA

No, I didn't remove the CPU or bend any pins during that process.

I removed it to sanitize it and then used it while it was placed. I also verified that the CPU was oriented correctly during insertion.

It seems you're suggesting a review of the pins. Would you like me to elaborate on that?

I verified the pins, they remain straight; however, there was some dust between them. I addressed it with a vacuum cleaner I use for my computer.

I understand you mentioned inspecting cables and RAM. Did you verify the RAM? If you didn’t find any bent or damaged pins, I recommend a full rebuild. Double-check CPU pins, use only essential components to get the PC running in BIOS, install just one stick of RAM and GPU, leave everything else unplugged and unpopulated except for future reference. No need to remove the CPU for cleaning.
