Even with an additional GPU, does the power supply fan keep spinning when turned on? If not, it's likely the PSU. Switching to a different PSU could be a better choice if it doesn't stay on. If it continues to spin and remains powered, it might indicate a faulty motherboard or CPU.

I should have realized that. A friend might have a free GPU to lend. Plus, my keyboard keeps glowing when I switch the power supply.

It seems the PSU is probably the reason for the issue.

I hope you're correct. I recalled having a friend with a spare 1080, so I'm planning to start with that instead of my 3080ti and proceed from there.

Overheating in the CPU or motherboard along with poor heat dissipation can cause system crashes. During operation, the CPU, power supply, and monitor produce significant heat to function correctly. Therefore, ensuring adequate airflow is essential.

I have strong airflow through my PC and ample room for ventilation into the surrounding area. This doesn't rule it out entirely, but it seems improbable considering my current configuration.

Discovering that flash works well is a great point to begin.

I checked it during my lunch break; it seemed to be the RGB on the motherboard, but I'll verify further when I get home for a closer inspection.

Tried a friend's 1080, but it didn't start. The signs keep suggesting the PSU is the issue. I have a PSU tester arriving this weekend to verify.
