I heard some pro teams in TF2 are leaving to focus on Overwatch. My thoughts? Probably not as successful there. Here’s why: it costs money, fewer players, and each class only has one weapon. Plus, running might be trickier. What do you think? I’d love to hear your perspective!

Blizzard understands their strategy. Overwatch is set to grow thanks to having one of the top directors in the industry. Jeff Kaplan played a key role in shaping WoW at its height.

It won't beat TF2 since its success comes from its free-to-play model. The fanbase will remain loyal as it's more accessible than Overwatch. While Overwatch might attract pros, it can't replace TF2's appeal.

Sure thing... maybe it could grow if it's competitive enough. But honestly, it won't be free—so few people will join. I'm one of them... was curious but... yeah... would you really pay for a better TF2 version? Only Blizzard seems capable of doing that.

They seem to be sticking with the Guild Wars 2 path. Fingers crossed it stays that way. ...right?

The heroes in Overwatch are entertaining, yet they come in two main game modes and eight maps that feel quite repetitive—like a long hallway with side routes. Right now, the experience doesn’t justify the price of 40 dollars. Plus, Blizzard hasn’t figured out how to properly back the esports scene, so I’m not optimistic about the future.

It doesn't mean TF2 will beat Overwatch just because the latter offers fun gameplay without cost while the former requires payment. Still, Blizzard has a knack for doing things right. Check out WoW, they've been charging $15 a month for 11 years and fans have gladly supported them, even covering full expansions over time.

I think hats are really cool. What excites me most about TF2 is the range of options. There are around 162 ways to set up the spy before the gun fight. It feels fresh each time, even after 4000 hours. And then the group taunts—especially when the whole server joins in with a conga or kazotsk kick. Those are the incredible moments you experience while playing the game.
