Off my head, those would be the ones to worry most about. Temps look pretty good though. Idle to load, looking at a 30c temp difference with a moderate gradient.

It seems the readings you're seeing aren't from the CPU itself but from the motherboard. The CPU package and core temperatures are higher, around 45 and 65 respectively.

The 45c indicates the remaining temperature before reaching 100°C. That’s your safety margin. (No specific temp shown for the motherboard or CPU.) Quick edit! Could be an off-chip sensor or mainboard CPU socket temperature.

This could actually raise more heat, but the cooler only reaches 72°C at 5.1GHz with this CPU. I reached out to be quiet since it's a sensitive topic.

You mentioned you're thinking, so your readings look normal. I assumed it was just an example. In reality, this CPU has a much higher TDP and voltage. It doesn't make sense for it to run cooler at 5.1GHz under load compared to my stock 4.3GHz i5 9600K on lower voltage.

The 7700K plate is not soldered while the 9600KF has soldered IHS. The heat transfer efficiency of the 7700K is significantly lower compared to the 9600KF. Although the 9600K theoretically should perform better due to having two additional cores and higher transistor density, the solder appears to compensate for the density difference.

Could reducing these settings lead to cracking noises and pops? I've owned this PC since summer and haven't experienced any such issues before. It's hard to pinpoint when it began—either before or after I changed the voltage settings. Since it heavily uses the CPU during intensive tasks, I suspected that was the cause. However, I notice cracking appears in games and sometimes during media playback (not when crunching). In movies, a restart seems to resolve the problem. I've turned off hibernation, avoided fast booting, and kept the sound card in MSC mode by default. I've also experimented with two different headphones and confirmed there are no grounding concerns in my flat. The DPC latency is around 100us, and stability tests along with 3D mark showed no major issues. Performance-wise it's fine. I plan to reinstall the sound drivers, but I'm wondering if undervolting might be contributing. My current settings are around 1.181 with a maximum of 1.225v during high load on the VCore. That seems reasonable, with VCC and VCCSA at 1.12v. I can only adjust by whole steps, not fine adjustments, and I followed the BIOS recommended changes.
