Overheating issue detected on i7 11700k at 61°C during idle mode
there’s likely an issue with overheating, probably a faulty AIO or poor mount. the radiator seems hot, which suggests the heat isn’t transferring properly. if it’s not getting warm enough, the pressure in the mount might be too low. thermal paste could be uneven or missing, and there might be kinks in the pipes or bubbles moving around with fluid flow. listen for any unusual sounds during operation.
For me, up to 75 times the target is great, between 75 and 90 it's average, and over 90 it's too hot.
Les temps sans mouvement ne comptent pas, c'est la température en fonctionnement qui compte vraiment.
The radiator isn’t warming up at all, and there are no bubbles to hear. I’m not sure what you’re referring to by kinks in the pipes—thermal paste seems to be spreading properly, but maybe I added too much when I reapplied it a couple of weeks ago. The heating issue was already present before the paste was applied.
As I power on Destiny 2, the CPU temperature spikes immediately to 89 degrees, while the GPU remains unstable, fluctuating between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius.
Some AIOs don’t always show bubbles, which might be typical. I’m hoping to see signs that the cooling fluid is circulating inside.
