I assembled my machine seven months ago and it has worked well until last month when it began overheating. I attempted a fix by reducing the maximum CPU load, but the issue returned and persisted. I cleared out the dust and reapplied thermal paste. I'm using a Galahad AIO 240 pump, and the fans are operating normally at 3375 rpm. I'm still relatively unfamiliar with computer troubleshooting and don't understand the root cause. If I were more informed, I could diagnose and resolve it myself. Currently, the CPU usage is at 70%, yet when it's idle it drops to 54%. I recall temperatures were around 34°C even during gameplay like League of Legends. Now, even with minimal CPU activity, the heat continues to rise. Thank you.

Looking for images of the PC, checking the tightness of the screws on the cooler, and measuring the CPU temperature during overheating.

Values under 75*c are considered safe for CPU temperature monitoring. If the system runs well, it indicates no thermal throttling.

Upon attempting any game, it immediately shifts to 81*c at times, sometimes even further up.

I recently tightened the screws, and the AIO pump is extremely stable. I can assure you of that. The temperature rises to around 80 degrees, then gradually decreases and sometimes drops completely when I switch applications.

"very secure" is a subjective thing, im afraid some people are very scared to screw their cooler down and thus not making proper contact 80 something is fine, your CPU wont cook itself, there's plenty of protection onboard to prevent that unlock your CPU performance and see how high it goes, if it goes to 100c then it's overheating (but, again, it will prevent itself from going any higher by reducing performance) if it's not reaching 100c, i wouldnt bother too much about it

I wouldn’t bother at all, but my computer is slowing down and my frame rate dropped from 200 to 11. I’m talking about security because I pushed it to its limits as much as I could.

Check your GPU temperatures; if the CPU is working well, the issue might be with the GPU.
