I attempted to speed up my 4-year-old PC with an Intel Athlon 2 processor while using an AMD AM3+ motherboard. Now it won’t boot at all. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Was es zuvor funktioniert? Falls ja, löse den CMOS aus. Überprüfe die Anleitung zur Mutterplatte, wie du das machen solltest.

Once you pass the post, you can enter the BIOS settings. You’ll likely need to reverse the overclocking. This might happen for several reasons: you may have pushed the voltage too high and didn’t provide enough power, you could have been unlucky with the semiconductor selection, or your motherboard isn’t delivering sufficient power from the PSU for the overclock. In older PCs built before, the PSU is probably only adequate for its specifications. There are many other potential causes as well.

I attempted to remove the CMOS battery but it didn’t help. There’s no way to access BIOS for undoing the overclocking, is there another method?

It could be a strange occurrence or a misconfiguration. Check the display through another port on the motherboard to see if the issue persists.

Attempted to change the output settings but no changes were applied. This issue has persisted for four hours.

It seems like the device is functioning but you're stuck in the BIOS menu. There aren't many options left unless you follow the instructions provided.
