You might consider taking the CMOS battery out overnight for certain boards that don’t clear properly. Your original BIOS could be damaged, so leaving it out helps. If the BIOS chip isn’t removable, you can either use an external programmer to reset it or get a new one. On Ebay there’s a seller called "BIOS Depot" who offers preflashed chips. Provide him with your board’s details (Make-model-revision) so he can install the right BIOS. It’s often cheaper than buying a new board. Let me know if you need the link.
