I recently tried to overclock my 290x matrix platinum, but quickly realized GPUTWEAK won’t help. The app crashes or locks the GPU at 300Mhz.
I’m considering using MSI afterburner, though it doesn’t manage voltage properly.
After some research, I found this guide that offers useful tips.
I obtained my I2CD data and discovered something on bus 6 Probing device 29...

have you experimented with amd overdrive? just shift the dot to a higher frequency and power limit and see how it works. move the dot gradually increasing the clock speed percentage until it becomes unstable, then raise the power slightly until it stabilizes again. repeat this process until you reach the desired overclocking level.
