i used my motherboard's EZ wizard for an OC to that (Z170 pro gaming) model
make sure it doesn't require too much vcore, as software auto-overclocking usually allows more voltage flexibility

For the GPU it's stable or you can increase it further?

as for the gpu, is it stable or should I increase it further?
gradually raise it until it becomes unstable, then reduce it back.
when using software that applies gpu overclock in windows startup, make sure you are aware of which key overrides the overclock just in case.
for afterburner, press the ctrl key as the pc starts to overclock a faulty one; other software might use different keys.

What you mean by unstable is unclear, but it seems you're referring to an issue with the Gigabyte xtreme gaming when trying to log in via Windows.

Unstable—you may see artifacts on the screen or experience freezing/black screen when reaching maximum. Ensure the overclock setting is unchecked in the gigabyte utility during Windows startup before completing the overclocking process.

the only similarity to your previous action appears in the General Settings section, where there is an option labeled: Start with Windows

the only match for the identical action you performed appears in the General Settings options, specifically an option labeled: Start with Windows. yes that's it, don't check that until your overclock is stable—otherwise you might lose your display or restart the pc completely. if this means applying the overclock at Windows startup, then there should also be a corresponding option.

just proceed slowly and perform a graphics benchmark such as unigine to evaluate the overclock each time you increase it
