Do you possess the most recent BIOS for your motherboard? The Z170 model is designed for Skylake, but there could be compatibility concerns with Kaby Lake based on the BIOS version you're using.

I plan to modify my BIOS and I’m hoping it will assist. A suggestion from a friend was made.
