OS X and Windows! (What a fun combo!)
I made this so people can share why they like a particular operating system. Those who criticize another OS will be taken out of the discussion, since we should value everyone's views. Feel free to discuss, but only in a respectful way.
You understand that you can't influence it, can you? I like Windows since I spend a lot of time working and gaming there, which perform much better.
I enjoy Windows 10 mainly for gaming options. I occasionally use a bit of Linux, but it isn't my primary operating system.
It's a bit of a debate about my choices. I've been using Windows since 95/98, even though I wasn't as skilled back then. For me, it's just what I'm comfortable with. The main reason is that most of my PC work revolves around modding and gaming—games are the biggest focus. This year I bought a MacBook Pro for travel because, in my view, they're top-tier laptops, stylish, and have long battery life. Plus, they seem safer against viruses now, even though that's changing. However, coming from Windows, some things feel very different, while others are much more intuitive, especially with browsing (Safari and OSX).
I don't really prefer OSX. Windows isn't flawless either, but it fits my requirements more effectively
I prefer OS X because of its hardware constraints; its interface is straightforward and works well for newcomers, though I wouldn’t suggest it for serious users. I’ve been using Windows since 1998 and question making a major switch to Mac. Their products are decent for everyday tasks, but I still enjoy Windows.
Each person has their own strengths and weaknesses. For those using OSX, the design remains more uniform and the interface feels smoother. It runs on UNIX, offering stronger security compared to Windows, though OSX isn’t completely free from risks. Windows continues to succeed in office settings because it supports a wide range of business tools. There are many aspects worth exploring, but that’s only a brief overview.
