It's long past the Windows 98 days. Prioritize what you need now—Windows 10 and 11 often update drivers automatically without you even realizing it. In the 95 and 98 eras, you had to tread carefully; mixing devices like sound cards and video cards could create major issues. Today? It's smooth, and this situation hasn't changed since XP.
