It seems the setup requires enabling the curve optimizer. Confirmed the score is around 13.5k for 5700x3d, which looks typical. The clock speed is noticeably lower than 5800x3d.

Most Ryzen 5800x3d models lack a PBO configuration, which makes me uncertain about this feature... CO from GitHub seems to be the only known solution. Some motherboards now include PBO support, though it's not officially recommended by AMD. Unlike many other Ryzen chips, this setting isn't adjustable. Clock speeds are also fixed by AMD. For instance, my B550 mortar wifi originally had PBO enabled and worked fine without a BIOS update—until I changed it, which removed the option entirely. After updating the BIOS, the voltage settings disappeared completely.

Did you know PBO is now supported on all Ryzen processors, or did you install a BIOS update from the 1970s on your MSI MORTAR motherboard?

Back then it was a major point since certain MSI models introduced PBO support, going against AMD advice. There were plenty of GPU tutorials and discussions about it. The CPU does handle it, but you shouldn't enable that feature.

Fascinating, yet this feature remains widely available on most motherboards with the newest BIOS updates.
