I upgrade from 5600x to 5700X3D and I’m wondering if Curve Optimizer works there. I thought you might think it’s not possible just to reduce temperatures, but maybe there’s more to it.

You were unable to proceed because the system didn<|pad|>, and even though the PC remained stable during the CPU stress test, you could safely undervolt it.

Yes, adjustments may be needed for each core to achieve full stability.

On YouTube there was a discussion about not undervolting 3D chips. It’s helpful to know that the curve optimizer can lower heat and extend CPU lifespan. Appreciation means a lot. Edited June 10, 2025 by Alix

Only the curve optimizer functions on X3D for the 5000 series. Warning: The impact will be minimal versus auto.

It's essentially about whether the effort is worthwhile or not, especially in terms of reducing heat. You're asking for clarification compared to the auto version.

It's nearly within the error range for R23. Consider checking the variance, particularly with a daily operating system.
