because not every cpu is the same, hence they'r playing it safe and give users the option to optimize this stuff themselves, but there is no guarantee it will work and to what degree. Tldr: if you give a cpu just slightly too low or high voltage it will simply crash. Not the best experience for a customer ~
It makes sense now that each CPU is unique, even within the same line. So far, I haven’t experienced any crashes with the setup I described.
