Evaluating whether it's worthwhile to purchase at 30 FPS on 720p low with your GTX 1650
It's a Hogwarts game, so if that's your choice then it makes sense. If you're seeking a great experience because you enjoy games... I haven't tested LOW settings at that resolution. Some titles deliver a lot for LOW, while others strip away every detail or texture.
many games boost performance with a few easy adjustments. setting shadows to medium works well, and even at low settings, moving around causes those shadows to fade away from your awareness. adjusting the lighting also makes a difference. on my older GTX 1080 I experimented with the gamma slider in many titles, often pushing brightness higher than suggested, then slightly reducing lighting and reflections. it wasn’t necessary to see my character reflected in every puddle or window—just knowing it was possible felt impressive, but with the pace of gameplay it was hard to pause and admire.
Based on these details, the 1080p/60 frame rate with a 5700iPS should perform even more smoothly. It looks like the system is ready for use.
I think I can maintain smooth performance at 720p as long as the minimum specs are met; probably fsr performance will push it up to 1080p. However, many threads mention shaders exceeding 4GB VRAM. I might just wait or upgrade to a 6800XT GPU when it drops in price next time, or look for a good used model at a lower cost.
In most games, ultra options are meant for beginners. A medium-high setting works best.
It's okay if you're satisfied with a 6700xt for 1080p for many years.
