in my custom loop it's about 1 degree between in and out.. if fans isn't ramping up.. yeah kryonaut can need a heat cycle to adjust.

When temperatures stay high, avoid using the spatula. Typically around 9900k requires this level of consistency; a cross might work too. Using too little will cause it to spill outward.

I applied the thermal paste three or four days ago, so the heat cycle should have been done already. The only other clue was that the out tubing was near the mounting screw, which makes me doubt it was the problem. I’ll keep the conversation open and check again after running the system today.

The thermal cycle appears inconsistent after our conversation. On day one, the system reached a peak at 75°C with full pump and fan operation. After a full day of low temperatures, it now shows high temperatures again at 100°C during the same conditions. The room temperature remains steady around 25°C, yet the system temperatures fluctuate significantly between days. I’ve checked the pump sound and confirmed it operates normally without air traps. There’s also a persistent gurgling noise in the radiator when the system starts, which seems to subside over time. Given these observations, I’m still trying to understand what’s happening.

In BIOS set tuning to disable, enable all limits—it's about pushing too much power through. Most mainboard makers usually provide free limits for running the CPU, which can cause overheating if you lack a large custom loop. A gurgling sound is normal in an AIO when the tubes aren't coming out at the bottom. How old is this AIO, by the way?.. they don’t really last many years.

It's been about 1.5 years, so I'm still covered under the warranty. My knowledge is limited, and I won't confirm the exact details later.
