oh and that's for 10880p i haven't tested any other resolution. i don't think ryzen is your best option if your goal is playing pubg. like i said the G3258 does a better job and that will cost you much less than ryzen

Yeah, it doesn’t seem worth it. Spending that much more for another 8GB probably won’t pay off. You could maybe get rid of the 960 and pool the earnings instead.

This update won't affect PUGB, yet other titles may benefit from it.

However, Intel board prices for the Z series come with an internal adjustment (AM4 support continues through 2020, which is a clear benefit over previous models). It would be useful if I needed to work with it for video editing. Same thoughts here. Still, PUBG doesn’t require a lot of GPU power thanks to the engine optimizations.

They didn't mention the same thing about AM3... Are you thinking of something else?

However, notice that AM3+ exists and works both ways (Similar to FX on AM3 and Phenoms on AM3+). (And my computer uses an AM3 CPU on the AM2+ board.)

Absolutely, purchasing older components tends to save money significantly. The ability to upgrade remains strong with second-generation Intel processors after modification. This setup will work well with a DDR2 configuration no matter what.

It seems the GPU might be limiting performance. If you adjust all other settings except resolution, success could be limited. But using 1080p might ease the CPU workload in certain cases. Experiment to find the best setting. Cheers!

At 720p the performance looks smooth, with no noticeable drops. The lobby stayed stable, and the game ran at about 40 frames per second once you landed.
