Oh Yeah, he bought it at full ticket price too. 1 day in Him: You should buy it dude, its amazing! Me: Nah, every review I've seen makes me think I'll hate it (easy, repetitive and a poor story) Him: Whatever, your loss. I don't care about story anyways. 2 weeks later Me: How's destiny 2 been? Him: I hate it! There's no story, its easy and it's super repetitive
The story offers some decent depth, though the narrative feels underwhelming (the campaign was a real chore). The visuals are solid, and the music is outstanding. If the gameplay wasn’t polished, there’d be no incentive to play. It’s a disappointing online offering, particularly when contrasted with Destiny 1. It looks like Bungie let go of some responsibilities and Activision replaced them with newcomers, or they overlooked the enhancements that made Destiny 1 successful.
