Check the panel for "System" details. Look for memory specifications like 8gb or 16gb.

Ensure it’s properly added in Task Manager and verify memory recognition.

I checked the CPUID and both SPD and Memory confirmed RAM was installed. SPD indicated 16GB but only used 8GB, while Memory confirmed both slots were connected.

I can't capture images directly. However, I can guide you on how to check your RAM installation location on the board.

I could not help but find it frustrating to take my PC out. It’s sitting on the floor. I need to disconnect all the cables. Slide the PC into my small room, remove the side panel screws. I can show you a picture of the motherboard and tell you what RAM is installed right now. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRI...S/gallery/

At first, it was in the gray slot, then I swapped it out and ended up putting both RAMs in the black slot.

The system reports 8GB RAM available, but you're experiencing issues despite testing various slots and colors. It might be related to the motherboard's BIOS settings or another hardware factor.

Consider reaching out to Asus. You may need to file a return or exchange.

I believe the ASUS driver for BIOS didn’t resolve the 16GB RAM issue. That’s usually what happens when you get a first-gen Ryzen machine.
