Absolutely, I see your point. Moving from 6700K to R7 should reflect your priority on cores. It's just a coincidence it works fine at 4K for a lower price.

It won't work on ultra settings, I mentioned 4K at 60fps for medium settings.

The key is that a $600 PC can handle 4k/60fps at levels similar to console performance (adjusting for settings and titles). No one has said it can push games to the absolute highest frame rate.
