I’ll mention another problem with booting, thinking it might be related to my RAM when using XMP profiles. I’ve been trying to manually increase my RAM speed in lower settings and still testing it. My task manager freezes when sorting tasks by name, but that stopped once I reduced the RAM speed by 100 MHz. Still, I keep experiencing boot failures. Could this be connected to the mouse problem? Not sure if RAM plays a role here.
Alright then, it seems the issue might be with Windows or hardware as discussed before. As noted, turn off any oc if present. Set RAM to auto and disable XMP. If that doesn’t help, reinstall Windows. If problems persist, consider using a different RAM module or test with a single stick at a time.
It significantly influences the outcome, almost always. Verify your RAM is installed in slots A2 and B2 of the motherboard. Check performance using auto speeds. Configure frequency, DRAM voltage, and timings via BIOS, then test again. If successful, previous settings likely caused issues.
I applied the optimized defaults and disabled XMP. Setting RAM to "Auto" likely adjusted all relevant parameters automatically. Trying without any overclocking still caused the problem, but it appeared significantly improved afterward. I can't confirm if this was due to luck or a real change.
Used current sticks individually in various slots, tried older sticks in dual channel mode and separately, but the problem persisted. BIOS settings stayed at defaults and overclocking was disabled.
It seems like everything is coming together, and I'm hoping I find a solution while backing things up. Thanks for your support and assistance!
It's surprising but I found the solution. The fresh installation helped, and when I re-downloaded my programs, I noticed "LittleBigMouse" might be the culprit. After testing, it definitely caused the problem. I don't understand why it happens, but it appeared right after installation and vanished once I uninstalled it. Probably won't use it anymore. Thanks!
